"Hotel great, staff great, room great. Pillows awful, room too warm on arrival despite no radiators being switched on. A member of staff (I presume), banging on the door of a room nearby at midnight, and the ensuing banging of doors for the following 30 minutes, isn’t something we’d like to experience again. Overall though, we’d stay again."

"The welcome to check in at reception was a little cold. The gentleman who dealt with us could have had a more friendly chatty manner. Facilities here are great pool was lovely. Would stay again if in the area"

"For an overseas visitor it was not the easiest to find - no nav in car or mobile phone Internet available. I could hear other people closing doors. The noise echoed down the corridor. Staff very good, co-operative and friendly. Small fridge was missed as I do not drink tea/coffee but do want cold milk and water."

"Amazing stay. Service was one of the best we have ever received along with special added touches, like cocktails in the room and a goody bag upon departure. Breakfast and dinner in the cedar restaurant were top quality with fantastic choice and ambience. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend this little gem of a hotel."

"It was very quiet, peaceful and the staff were amazing. We had a leak in the room but were sorted by the time we returned. One thing I would say was we had a forest room and it’s not very private as the walkway is very close to the windows"

It’s been a long time since we have experienced such a positive approach from a TEAM of staff and not just the odd person within a team. Well done!
